Do critiques similar to how we do at uni - prints stuff out
Printed pages designed to make people want to keep it
A lot of ideas fall through - often only have 2 weeks. Fast paced!
Very close nit with printers - have full understanding of vision for mag.
Work with brads in a genuine and interesting way.
E.g. Harry’s - celebrating male masculinity by curating a life drawing class
E.g. CANVAS - came up with proposal in 1 hour.
E.g. The Conran Shop - exhibition in window space. Taking concepts and turing them into sculptures. Isabel and Helen.
E.g. TIMEX - idea of humanising the face, showed a typographic approach, example sketches, gathered references (its nice that stuff, old timex posers, type from that time, different watches), used references to design a typeface for face of watch.
